“For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”- Ephesians 2:10 (biblegateway.com daily bible verse)
I've said before that I'm afraid of writing this WIP. I'm not now!
I may feel that way again, but I know what verse to look up!
What about you?
What is your "get-up-and-go-give-me-gumption" push right now?
Kelly, I always love your blogs. You've pinpointed something important: the fear. Can we write the story we want to tell? Could we possibly have more talent than we're aware? Or less talent than we want to admit? If God has given us the story and the desire to write it, then we can determine to push past the pain and "tell it like it is."
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kelly. I need to write that verse on my bathroom mirror!
ReplyDeleteKathy: :) thanks, girl! Oh man, those things fly through my head, especially when I do something towards an intangiable goal. "What if this is for nothong?"
ReplyDeleteLainie: Hey, Lainie! I've got the same plan! HAha.
*nothing* you know what I mean. lol
ReplyDeleteRight now, it's my love of this story. Great verse!!
ReplyDeleteOh man, Katie :) That's great!
ReplyDeleteI love this verse too. :)
I've seen it two or three times lately.
I love that scripture. I sometimes forget He has great things for me to do. Thank you for the reminder.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great verse. I don't have a specific one right now because I'm in a drifty place mentally (I'm sure that makes a lot of sense!), so I'm just listening and reaching out to God throughout the day instead.
ReplyDeleteYou can doo it lady! :) I will feel like a failure if I don't finish it, so that's my gumption for the time being :)
ReplyDeleteTabitha: I love it too. It was a great wake up call.
ReplyDeleteJill: I totally understand! :) Tiny pieces of inspiration do the same as the big ones. They move us forward.
Jenna: Thanks! That's a good reason to keep going! I feel like that sometimes too.
