I'm blessed to be a stay-at-home mom, but I still don't have unlimited hours. Someone has to watch the kids! (Yeah, that someone is me.)

I get up early, write, and spend all afternoon with the kids. The evenings are always lost in cooking/cleaning until about 8:30 when I exercise.

Good luck. Try and cut yourself some slack. Maybe even designating a few days as sleep-in zones?

Have a great weekend!Jill Kemererhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07865493609868329393noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2796003403467725916.post-9812900354064065192010-07-06T23:04:49.956-04:002010-07-06T23:04:49.956-04:00I think I have finally admitted that I am not a go...I think I have finally admitted that I am not a good daily scheduler. Instead, I write mostly in big chunks of time. One day a week, my husband takes our daughter out for the morning and I write from 9am to 2pm. This coming year, my daughter will also be going to class one day a week (on the other days, I homeschool her) so that will help too.

When I wrote my dissertation I was closer to your kind of schedule. I woke up at 4:30am to work. My daughter would wake up at 6:30 or 7:00am, and once she was awake, that was it for the writing! Now that she's older, it's a little easier.Rosslyn Elliotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11304732306399786236noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2796003403467725916.post-80775466517087836152010-07-06T19:39:41.083-04:002010-07-06T19:39:41.083-04:00Oh, this is a hard one. Or else I set aside that time after dinner and write then. I have decided that TV is a waste of time if I really want to fit writing in. That is where I squeeze the extra time. Good luck with this one :)Tabitha Birdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08196816108272065974noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2796003403467725916.post-69371104157449982712010-07-06T13:38:39.141-04:002010-07-06T13:38:39.141-04:00Do you hav a lunch hour? Could you take your laptop in a break room?
Could you go from work to the library (or anywhere) before you pick up the kids?
Could you stay up til 10:30 and sleep til 6?
Could you give up an hour somewhere 2-3 times a week instead of daily?

I don't think I could make myself do it at 5... And if you're starting to hate it that's not good. I agree with you about the needing children time and them needing Mommy time. They're only that young once.Wendy Delfossehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16614782334273299261noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2796003403467725916.post-66591361672009031792010-07-06T10:13:36.935-04:002010-07-06T10:13:36.935-04:00Kelly,
